Nutrition Philosphy

Jaime is a proponent of intuitive eating and holistic health. It is her goal to work with each individual and their current lifestyle to provide a gentle approach to healthy changes. She recognizes that every single person is different and the recommendations need to fit the individual. Since Jaime has background in exercise and movement as well as a love for cooking, she can advise clients on how to incorporate those important aspects into their program. She can provide food plans or recipes, go grocery shopping with you, or teach you to cook in your home. Our health and vitality is what makes the rest of the things we do in our lives possible. Jaime wants to help people increase their energy levels, feel great, and have the ability to live their lives to the fullest.

Yoga Philosopy

Jaime has had a lifetime of movement beginning with gymnastics at age five which continued through college at a competitive level. Since then she has coached gynmastics and began a professional modern dance career. Her experiences with gymnastics and dance influence and enhance the way she teaches. Her class has a consistent structure, but each one is different by theme, body part emphasis, apex pose, etc. Some poses are held, but the pace of the class is a medium flow. Every class includes, core work, balance poses, upper body strengthening, and standing poses. Jaime strives to teach to the individual; giving variations for injuries and skill level. She delves deeply in body awareness and anatomy during class with focus on alignment and gentle strengthening. Yoga should feel good. The body is working and may get sore, but every person should work with their own boundaries and limitations to prevent injury; working with rather than against the body. Jaime is interested in all aspects of the body and health and continues to learn and grow in her personal and professional practice.
